The Ground Hog models, 1M and 1M5C One Man Earth Drills, are designed to put the power of a Two Man machine in the hands of one. The unique right-angle design minimizes operator fatigue by eliminating torque kick-back to the operator. Our One Man Earth Drill is setting the industry standard with features such as a 7/8" square drive, tubular drive shaft and time-tested gearbox. Heavy gauge steel is used throughout the manufacturing process, as well as Timken^® tapered roller and ball bearings, to produce a durable, low maintenance, and high quality piece of equipment that you would expect from Ground Hog.

Accessories STANDARD Standard Series augers feature hardfaced, screw-in fishtail pilots, and bolt on hardfaced blades. COMBO Combo Series augers feature heat treated cast alloy steel boring heads. PENGO® Pengo® Series uses the same forged steel teeth as the Combo Series as well as a bolt-on, heat treated, alloy steel pilot bit.
