The C-71-5 Earth Drill is the work-horse of the Ground Hog line, tried and tested for over 30 years. It's straight forward design promotes durability and requires very little maintenance.

The C-71-5 comes equipped with a centrifugal clutch and a finger operated, return-style throttle. It is also equipped with a stop switch at both operator positions. The C-71-5 uses Ground Hog's proven gear box, which incorporates Timken^® tapered roller bearings for years of trouble-free service. The gear box uses Ground Hog's 7/8" square drive output shaft, an industry standard.

Accessories STANDARD Standard Series augers feature hardfaced, screw-in fishtail pilots, and bolt on hardfaced blades. COMBO Combo Series augers feature heat treated cast alloy steel boring heads. PENGO® Pengo® Series uses the same forged steel teeth as the Combo Series as well as a bolt-on, heat treated, alloy steel pilot bit. DS3/DISPLAY STAND Multipurpose Stand stores the Earth Drill and up to three Augers.
